Every open role now attracts hundreds of applications and most are read by software before a person sees them. A candidate with the right experience can be rejected because a heading was not standard, a column was laid out with a table, or the achievements were never quantified. None of that is about ability.
ResumeFormat is an independent product built to close that specific gap. It gives you layouts that parse correctly, a score that tells you where you are losing points, and editing that does not get in the way of writing. It is deliberately not a career platform, a job board or a profile network — it does one job.

Fix the cause, not the symptom
Most resume tools make documents prettier. Ours makes them readable to the software that filters them first, because that is where the rejections actually happen.
Show the score, explain the maths
A number with no explanation is theatre. Every point we award or deduct is written out, with the wording to use instead.
Never hold your own work hostage
You can export on the free plan. Your documents stay editable if you downgrade. We would rather earn a subscription than trap you in one.
Respect the fifteen minutes
People write resumes at 11pm, after work. Anything that adds friction — sign-ups for a preview, forced tours, a paywall on the export button — had to justify itself or go.

- Sell your data, or hand your resume to recruiters who did not ask you first.
- Charge you to download your own document on the free plan. Free exports carry a small watermark; that is the actual limit.
- Add a feature that only exists to inflate a plan tier. If it does not help you get an interview, it does not go in.
- Put a countdown timer on a discount. The price is the price.
